Mini Bar set up on Boyd's trash can

Rhodes being very persistent with the starting of a bonfire while standing in the rain

Finally! A fire!!!!!!!!!

GB and Rhodes on the journey home from Boyd's (and we broke curfew the first night...shhhh)

GB leaving for Birmingham to work in the shelters of New Orleans evacuees the morning after the storm...meanwhile, Rhodes and I had just returned from a quick road trip to Hammond, LA for ice and other essentials becasue SOMEONE (not mentioning any names) told us they had full power in that area

Justin arrives at my apt after my early morning Hammond-BR commute. He appears to be ready to party but in a panic because he failed to purchase a car charger for his fancy new iphone. I quickly remember that word on the street was FM had power just a few blocks away...text message him to ask if we can steal power long enough to re-charge Justin's phone, arrive and are offered a car charger (loaner style for and iphone from FM - wow, that was quite kind). Justin drove the flooded streets from FM's to my place and we wait for Erik.

after Erik arrives...we walk to Houndogs. They had power and alcohol!!! Wednesday brought the return to work and a panic to find gas (the lines were five and six hours long).

okay sorry about the Hammond information. I still can't believe we made a bonfire! Sneaking home was fun but I woke up with leaves everywhere from when we had to jump behind the bushes to hide from the cop car.
