I finished reading Playing for Pizza on Sunday, what a terrible book. I would not suggest anyone read it. The book was about a former NFL football player playing football in an Italian league after no team in the US will have him. The game descripions were terrible and the character development was non-existent! I did not like the book from about page 10 on, but cannot start a book without finishing so I gutted through the entire thing. It was written in the John Grisham style that even a six year old could rea, if that is a positive?

thumbs down to John Grisham. all 4 of them. I'm reading the Time Travelers Wife, which people have been urging me to read. I'm really enjoying it. At the rate I'm going I could be ready to lend it to you next week. I can give you Leslie's Journal, but that won't last you long at all.
Hmm. I believe life is too short to muddle through a bad book, or should I say "a book that doesn't spark my interest."
Plenty more at the library. I probably only finish about 1/3 of the books I check out.
To each his own, though.
